Well in high school my best friend would always say, "My stomach is growling like a lion in a cage!" and I just always thought that was funny. I was looking for a title for my blog that would kind of stand out. I know it's silly but YOU are here reading it! LOL I like food and whenever I look at one of my cooking shows my mouth waters and belly growls like a lion in a cage. If you happened to be a stay at home mom, you will understand feeling like a Lion(ess) in a cage!
I changed it to Lioness because, well, it should be obvious, I am a women and the lioness of my house hold. (I should make a tee shirt or something)
So that is my short explanation of why I chose this name.
